Dear TGP Family,
At the end of January, the Goodness Project team had the incredible opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic to serve in Bayaguana — the location of our new warehouse space and a strategic hub for reaching surrounding rural communities.
While the Dominican Republic is often associated with tourism and beautiful coastlines, the reality for many families is very different. Roughly one in five people in the country live below the poverty line, and in rural areas the rates are significantly higher. Many households lack access to basic essentials, stable income, adequate bedding, and hygiene supplies. For elderly residents and individuals with medical needs, even items like adult diapers can be nearly impossible to afford.
That is why this new warehouse space in Bayaguana is so important.
Providing Hope and Resources for Families in Need
Our vision is to ship containers filled with critical resources––mattresses, adult diapers, hygiene products, and other essential supplies—and distribute them directly into smaller communities that are often underserved. These are places where people don’t have the simplest of necessities, yet they carry extraordinary resilience and faith.
We were also honored to have Adrian and Sharon Thomas join us—leaders of another ministry serving in the Dominican Republic. They have faithfully served there for over 20 years and have deep relationships within the community. Their knowledge of the culture, the people, and the specific needs in each area is invaluable. Through their connections, we are being introduced to trusted local churches who can continue to care for families, disciple them, and walk alongside them long after the distributions are complete. It is truly an incredible Kingdom connection and a reminder of how God weaves ministries together for greater impact.
More than 100 Families Served at our First Event!
During our very first distribution event, more than 100 families received essential supplies and personal ministry. What we witnessed was both humbling and powerful. As we provided practical resources, we also shared the hope and love of Jesus. Needs were met. Prayers were prayed. Encouragement was given, and hope was restored.
We believe God has called us to walk in dominion—to advance His Kingdom by demonstrating His goodness in tangible ways. It is His goodness that leads people to repentance, and we are seeing hearts open as compassion is put into action.
This is only the beginning. With a permanent base in Bayaguana, we can now consistently deliver resources in containers and expand our reach into neighboring communities where the need is great.

Our Canadian Goodness Team generously raised the funds for this very first event in the Dominican Republic, and we are so grateful for their faith and leadership in launching this outreach. Because of their generosity, more than 100 families were impacted.
As we look ahead, there are ongoing costs associated with shipping containers, purchasing essential supplies, and maintaining warehouse space so we can continue distributing resources consistently.
